Hello, everyone. in some discussions I heard about managing multifoil files, especially useful for electrical schematics, in which the design normally develops on different sheets a4 or a3.
I have thus learned that such files contain in practice numerous layers, called according to a sequence of the type "pagx" with progressive numbering of pages; the use of these files provides that only one of these layers is active every time it serves, while all others are frozen.
the way to manage the situation could then consist of a command, or better still in an always active window, which allows or simply choose the page to activate between the various existing ones or to add a new layer (with the name obtained from the prefix plus the next number available).
I wonder if you can operate with a lisp running the following commands:
1) lets you slide between existing layers to choose from and then, once you choose the layer to display (e.g. p002) it displays it by freezing all other layers "pagxx")
2) shows, in another section or queue to the list of existing layers, the next sheet that you can create, so that its activation creates the corresponding layer (e.g. "pag15") and displays it by freezing obviously others and thus showing an empty sheet in which to draw
3) a useful step to delimite the sheet could be to automatically draw in the layer created the paper, with the sheet number compiled automatically
