use of udfs

Hello everyone,

Is there someone who can enlighten me about the use of udfs? what exactly do they serve and how do they create?
I don't know if I'm on the right track but basically what I want to do is to automatically update a reputly table by reading an external excel file.

udfs are user-defined features and simplifying are a feature group that you can recall when necessary... is a powerful tool because you can use both in part mode and in assembly. as far as the family tables managed by udf you should take a look at the help of pro-e...
