Hello everyone

as every year, with the release of the new release I present the same problem for customization of the user interface.

practically already last year, with 2010, I had lost more than one day to set up the All-In-One bar (command position, icon size, etc.) so that I could easily find all the commands.

now with 2011 I wanted to load the configuration of 2010, someone knows how to do???

after tests and tests I managed to do the job in half (so I don't know if I did it right)

I practically took the .cuix file from the 2010 version and copied it and subsituated it to the acadm.cuix file contained in the document and settings/user/data applications/ecc after which I went into the 2011 mechanical options and the file entry, I assigned the path of the .cuix file to the voice "personalization file".

I say half because the All-In-One Bar actually shows up as in 2010, the commands are there and all work, but many icons are quoted with a "?" inside a cloud, I checked that the name was correct, etc. and it is right, only that even in the list of icons, half there are always "?" (it is as if it didn't find them ...:frown: ), if instead I open an original .cuix file of 2011 the icons there are all

I practically exported and imported the profile, after which I also copied the acadm.cuix file inside the autocad mechanical folder 2011\r18.1\ita\acadm but I also added the acad.mnr file (autocad menu resource), I don't know if it was really the problem though doing so I solved it:wink:

on my 2010 there is the migration of custom settings (but always from/for version 2010) and at most there is the migration utility of mechanical files.


on the other hand I can no longer uninstall version 2010, from the application installation window does not open the page (that with repair, reinstall and uninstall)

I confirm that it is for custom settings and not for imports of dwg. allego screenshot.
at least in autocad and map 3d is so. It seems strange to me that he is not present in mechanical.
