Hello, everyone.
We just went to solidworks and we're trying to sort things out.
I opened a call with our assistance but they told me that you can't do it.
the problem is that the divider symbol for weight is the point, while we would like comma. in the image I attach it seems that the piece weighs 89 tons instead of 89 kg: does anyone know how to put the comma instead of the point?
solidworks is the 2017 version.
Thank you.

The question is not easy.
the problem would be quietly by setting 1 or 2 decimal instead of 3.
therefore reading 89.20 it would be impossible to think about the point as a separator of the thousands.
in the case of 2 decimals, which are many if you do not make minutery, you can set the suppression of the final zero

maybe you can change the separator from windows. And yet I have the doubt that solidworks also have options in property screens to do something.quishould work globally and derived. you can change the system separator with a symbol that gives you.... only in solidworks....like for excel or word....

the general management separator applies to the display of quotas and not for that of units.

thanks for the answers.
how did you set your carts?
if you can't put comma, I'm thinking of setting weight in grams and as suggested by mammals to put maybe only 1 decimal.

Why in grams? If you put it in chili and you have in decimal nobody reading 12.1 or 12000.1 can think of something different from decimal. that then a decimal on the grams would be worth putting 4 on the kilo and I think only the dealers and hours use it:)

Bye.
I was trying to change decimals for weight as advised. Unfortunately I made it faster to forget how to configure creo than to learn how to set up solidworks...
How do I set .12 for weight? I have seen that in the cartiglio it changes if I put .12 in the length, but I would leave the length unchanged and reduce the decimals only for the weight.
Thank you.

in the design environment the decimals of the length (which does not refer to the accuracy of the lines) are influential, so put the decimals that interest you for weight.

Report from the online guide:

Thank you, but I cannot select how many decimals to put for the mass, as you see I indicated in red in the previous image.
I don't know if there is a file with customizations, I'm learning now.
Thank you for your help.

Davide.

You can only define decimals for all three voices.
as in environment design length and volume are not used impose decimals that you care to have for weight.

Bye.
Sorry I didn't answer you earlier.
I set up as you say and all right, thank you:).
I expected to be able to set in different ways the part and the table (e.g. to leave more decimals on the part and less on the table), but the table reads the decimals of the part. I'm gonna make a point. The important thing is that it works. ;)
I've been testing these days, and if I have any more problems, I'll take advantage of it again.
Thank you.

Davide.
