Good morning to all, I hope it is the correct section for the question I am about to ask, very specific.
I am examining some regulatory standards regarding the valve leakage class, specifically speaking of fci70-2-2021.
in the text, chapter 4, subchapter 4.2.4 dedicated to valves in class there, definitions such as:
"unbalanced single-seat valve controls" - "balanced single-seat control valves".
which valves do you refer to? what do they mean by balanced or balancing valves and vice versa?
I was thinking about the eccentricity of a valve as a balancing valve (e.g. triple eccentric type, fourth etc.) and as a result for balances with symmetrical shutter or butterfly compared to the valve body, could it be?
