variable section sweep with sform

I modeled the surface of a conduit using a variable section sweep considering also sforming. However:
1) Why does not measure the diameter on the input and exit sections?
2) would you have used different commands to model it?
3) Is there a way to put sforming (with deformed command) on surfaces without edges like that?

saying "unsuccessful revolution" alluded to what preparation-h suggested...

However, if you can't read the measurements it might (may) mean that the system doesn't recognize a single diameter and therefore that the circularity is lost in operations. It's a hypothesis.

you might think that I'm looking for fur in the egg but actually I just try to figure out if the command of "sweep to variable section" varies the section as you want or as I ask him to do (following two straight profiles in input and output).
