vault basic in local

Good morning, everyone.

Can you tell me if there is a possibility to install (and possibly how to configure), the vault on the computer locally and not via server?
in the office I only have a pd&m subscription station, I work on a disk inside my computer that every 30 minutes makes a synchronization on the company server for rescues. (I work so because precisely there is only a station and also the management of large assemblies is very fast).
I wanted to try installing the vault but when he asks me to login, I don't know how to configure it. Would anyone give me any indication? Thank you.

Also from me you would like to install the vault...we are in 2 users whose pc serves as a server, I installed the vault and tried the configuration but it is not simple...if there were someone able to give 2 straights.. .

I use vault, in my opinion, until you are at least 3-4 you need little.

I know that vault is more suitable for working groups than for the single user but from what they told me (at least so they sold it to me), with vault there is the possibility to do for example a search for a part to know in which and how many axioms/projects has been inserted. this function would be very helpful

Actually, a nice pdm can make the user's happiness, too. The reason why maybe it is not recommended is that the cost of the configuration, if spread over one post, becomes prohibitive.

Configuring the vault server and client (basic version) is simple, you just need to know a minimum of work areas, templates and styles. I recommend it anyway, even to single users, it was only to be able to rename a file and find all the links in place without doing anything. then copy project, move files from one folder to another without any link problems etc..
