I personally believe that nemetschek should give it to me for all the hours I lost to us over the sterile demo and for all the free advertising I did to him.

and who said otherwise? vectorworks for me is indisputably the cad/bim n.1 program in the world. What I do not like is the distribution policy that for a program with certain potential and with an antagonist role should be completely opposed to what it is and therefore less rigid and restrictive! !
I would be curious to see the proportion of win licenses compared to those mac. then if things go as usual I am curious to see the stall of sales in new licenses with the marketing of autocad!

If you refer to me, sappi ke I have studied for several months the demo, I read all the information material available on the network and I have seen all the tutorials that they kiss on the net but I never had the chance to start a work integrated with existing dwg designs and tried to export it to dwg to see if it is really possible to work on a same job once using autocad and once using vectorworks!!
in my study some posts have to have autocads and some I would like to have vector but never and then never would I venture on buying some licenses without seeing with my eyes that it works 100%. my need is that I think they have 99% of Italian professionals who would like to escape from autocad.
I remain of my idea that the results are those that count and the "system" autodesk, microsoft and beautiful company is the best. .

Fuck her! thank you lory, don't thank you! I didn't know there was a 30gg trial!!!! think that a videocom representative wanted to propinate me this 30gg trial for 200€! I was really outraged and angry with this speculative and extremely restrictive distribution system. If I am an Italian professional I go of my own spontaneous will in search of vectorworks should lay a red carpet and facilitate myself in all aspects including the economic one considering that an architect is a pole around which many other technicians and studies actively collaborate! !
You think even my partner is skeptical to buy vector and I as a jerk are here that I push for nothing because when I convinced him, if it were for videocom, I should pay the trial and then pay two licenses (don't tell me why the second one is discounted!).

Anyway, I'll be in the bologna saddle and I'll spend almost the whole day at vectorworks and see what I'm proposing economically. .

I did so, I asked videocom about the "representative" area. the "representative" is a very good one who works there. He taught me, I could ask to address myself to other professionals but I didn't! Anyway I asked my apple center if they had clients with vw. They answered me yes, so I asked him if they could intercede. They did and they passed my phone numbers. of the three contacted only with one I managed to combine the appointment. the other two, although available, had some organizational problems so we were told to resent a couple of days later. I didn't really need it! !

Hi, I wanted to point out that I don't sell it because I'm dissatisfied with the program.
I had the opportunity, working in various studios of architects, to use various soft cads, both win and mac, and I must say that to me it seems one of the best bim on the market. complete, even in the fundamental version, and easy to use as soon as you learned those three things that each cad has as setting.

given the very bright tone held by epasinet, I think I owe a reply, although I think that talking about commercial choices on a forum is neither correct nor appropriate.

a) epasinet says: "vectorworks is almost unknown in Italy". I do not understand from where this data is drawn, since there are thousands of licenses installed and is by far the most used cad in macintosh environment.

(b) trial at 200 euro = speculative and extremely restrictive distribution system. this system was put on track in the summer to meet the demands of some studies that wanted to use the program before buying it. Since a full license was provided, it was deemed to request this sum for two reasons: keep the leaks away; participate in the profits generated by a fully operational license. Of course if the study at the end of the 30/60 days of test decided to buy the software, the amount already paid is totally updated.

c) additional licenses of vectorworks do not cost as the main license. this is not common, since almost all other software products do not make discounts on additional licenses.

If you want, from "Italian Professionist", use a complete program that works and work a month, it is not just like using a mercedes for a test day: ask your trusted dealer to let you try a month (also see that it costs the equivalent of several vw licenses) and, gasoline aside,* feel a bit of what responds to you.
Other: I do not understand that in any other commercial area you can claim to use a 100% good before buying it. but so much: software is usually copied, like music and movies, so what problems are there! I unload the movie, watch it, and if I like to go to the movies? ? ?

with the release of the 2011 version we count to have active a new system that will allow us to provide an eval version in Italian downloadable and activated via network, of the duration of 30 days, although it will not be a totally complete version.
