Hello everyone,
I wanted to check screws with the simualtion tool to verify bolt/pin and reading the guide I couldn't understand one thing: the diameter of the bolt stem is the nominal diameter of the thread or the diameter of the hazel?
because then the traction stress area is required (which I would calculate with hazelnut diameter) but looking at the formulas that the program uses to make verification in calculating the bending load ratio there is an i =0,25*p*r^4 expression where r making two calculations is screw radius calculated with the diameter of the bolt stem.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you.
