I have a pinion with z=20, a z=74. The material is 42crmo4 (hb=240-285; rotation=800-950 n/mm^2; yield=550 n/mm^2).
the power to the pinion is 79 kw.
n1=47,55 rpm; n2=12,85 rpm
working hours 3000.
by checking both pressure and bending..tale transmission is not verified.
theoretically teeth should not hold. At least according to my calculations, but actually this gear has been realized and you want to know how many working hours you can do.
