very heavy files after copying entities from other files

I happen to copy some project parts into a new design. It often happens that the "copyed" design, while being a small part of the original design, is much heavier. for example: original file 50 kb, copied design 1.345 kb. How can I do to have "provided" files?
p.s. I happen with autocad lt2002.

you have to delete layer filters,

to do so with only one command, use trial version 30 days autocad 2012

(with 2002 lt you can delete them one at a time)
