Hi guys, maybe it's a banality but I came across a little revit problem, concerning the visualization of the walls "multilayered" in the plant and in the section.
So I had the need to create different multilayered walls starting from a simple generic wall, so in some I have the insulation in other double bricks etc. working on priorities, I made sure that the insulation connected with that of other walls, same thing for bricks and plaster etc. in perfect plant of course, I got the desired effect. the problem that arises now is that, in section those priorities that I have assigned to the behavior of the walls do not allow me to see what I want to get in section. for example the conjunction of the walls with the upper or lower floors. someone could tell me he works on the priorities of the floors! already done but it is not enough to create the package I want, because even the floors have different layers. my question is: is there a method in revit architecture that allows to display the walls in the plant in one way and those in section in another? I refer only to priorities, it is clear that if I move that I know a brick or the position plaster I do not claim not to see it in the plant, but only and exclusively give a realistic effect to what happens to the building.
I hope I don't have to create two files, one for sections and one for plants.
or what I want to get is it possible to guarantee it only with the detail components?? ? I hope not! if not so much it is worth always using autocad.

Thank you.

Can you post some pictures? You don't understand.
Things like that.. .
a little I have solved in other areas of the building, but I have used the technique to create a lot of types of walls that logically I think is wrong. . .
as I see it since they are at the beginning, if you have the need to use packages a little more complicated, it becomes a little problematic to bring everything back as you want...it would take a little more priority :)

Since the post is now open... I also take advantage of it to ask if it is possible to pass the isolation of an external wall around the loft... i.e. by associating the wall with a loft so that the insulation includes a "c" around the loft and rejoins the upper wall... is it a dream or is it possible to do it?

Hi.
