Good morning, I opened a subaxieme and then I created drawing from the axieme but I came this message (precisely I don't know what virtual components are)

a virtual component is a component that does not have a physical file in the explorer folders. is present within the axieme, it is managed as any other part or subaxieme, but remains saved internally. the parts that are created directly in the axieme, i.e. without inserting a previously created part, is always a virtual part that at the time of the rescue is asked if to save it internally, then lascciarla virtual, or externally.
an example where it can be useful to use virtual components is the cylinder; the code is only one, but if you need to make movements you have to create a mobile assembly that will be composed of 2 parts (stelo and shirt). But it may be that in the explorer folder create confusion then they make viruali the two parts that will be incorporated into the axieme (which will have a greater weight mb).

I personally disagree with the use of virtual components, I used the system for a few months and then realize that sw without reason at a distance of months if it lost them on the street, you opened the axieme and virtual components were no longer in place.

I never had a problem.
I use them every time I have a commercial component with single code, like cylinders and jacks, and I need to make motion checks.
also moving them from one folder to another keep their place.
Maybe you opened them while there was a part with the same open name.
