Hi, we preferred to interrupt updates. I did not like the new management of geometry 2d, I think it was unintuitive; the cam 2/3assi re-established in some windows, and p.e. the use of ie as a job log viewer ( imagine to launch a p.u. 3d piece of its and part ie to tell you that it failed, but not to tell you where the problem is, at least until 17 there is the essential text ).
then maybe they work much better other parts that I personally do not know: I limit myself to 2d for 99% of cases.

As usual they make you pay a mountain of money, then at the end with the changes that report on updates, you no longer spoil them because the few improvements (not always) are not worth the expense that you face by changing version.

idem us, the continuous change of logic of operation has really annoyed me, and think that every time should be the last. :Mad: I haven't updated since 16, even if I received updates.

I think the easiest thing is to get you a demo of the local dealer: only if you try you can realize even if there's no training.
Meanwhile try to follow their section.
I had the luck of approuding the possibility of using a mastercam demo (without saving), and I didn't see this exalted thing (maybe it was also the untreated graphics that lowers enthusiasm);
and participated in a presentation of solidedge st3, from which I remedied a cd from 30gg (which I haven't used yet because in firm I would saturate the hw and at home I have a mac ) and I found that if 2d is free on their site (just register, but there is no help).
in both cases I did not gaseous, for so far I am well where I am and if the visi xx will be passable I will remain, otherwise the world is beautiful because it is varied.

but at this point it goes directly to 19?
we have been using it for about 1 month and I have to say that there are improvements on all fronts.
then I finally have no memory problems since 19 the cam3d supports 64 bit and therefore sees all 16 mb of the pc I use.

hi surely tebis in my opinion is a superior product than I lived.
I saw it and then I opted for a series of reasons.
working with time I have heard many times the lack of tebis working method.
the main problem with tebis are the costs of both the product and maintenance practically double or almost regarding visi and also have very long training times,various steps of a week ten days each depending on the module.
so if you have money to spend and time available surely is a great product otherwise I would look for something else.

Hello, I see you're discussing the software I've seen, or is anyone able to tell me if you can find a "used" license of this software? on the basis of a recent law decree (if not issued in 2009) you can now purchase software licenses passing the ownership of the use from a company that sells it to another who buys it as "used". I am looking for a cadcam to be able to program my working center that mounts a fanuc om system, the need is to manage 2.5 axes (ideally 3 axes in dynamic would be optimal) of course managing also the tool change. Does anyone know how to give me directions? Thank you.

hi giudig, for how now is managed the license, that is with annual expiry, I do not think it is possible to recover a second hand visi, that lasts more than a year. Now the whole package is stuck.
you can stick to the version you buy and do not take updates, and they will release the specific pw each year for the version you are.
I believe that, if it is true that there is that decree, ours are able to show the license as, p.e. English, and bypass the unlock. If instead it was a European thing, maybe it is more operational, but where is one going to bang the head without a bit more stringent references?
and then you always have the problem of setting up the postprocessor for your fanuc: If you're good, you're "starting" from the default, otherwise you're "point over."
did you try to hear how much they ask you for the new?
