Hello everyone,
I use autocad2010 and in the use of perspective view, the function adjusts distance and zoom make the same thing i.e. approach the object to the camera by distorting it, while in the autocad2004 the zoom idle only but did not change the distortion of the image.
How come? ?

use the command camera (or appfot), you can change the view by acting on the grips and display in real time the preview of the changes,

Distance rule and zoom are two different things! I can physically approach the object or use a lens that simulates this behavior. clearly if I use a wide angle pushed (16mm to e.g.) and I approach with the room to the subject this will be distorted. vice versa if instead of using a 16mm I use a 100mm I do not need to approach and I will not have distortion.
Perhaps if you study a little more than go randomly, things solve them with logic and without saying nonsense
