to assign a value to a parameter through relationships the syntax is as follows:

type = "xxxxx"

in the relationship.txt file there are the types I use, which are formed by two numeric characters and a short description, in the distinct if I order them by type the most important details come at the beginning followed by those of minor valleys.

if from the menu I make info -> model size pro-e gives me the length of the diagonal (see attachment) of the starting crude.

Now I would like to be able to assign the values of group to empty variables defined by me:

the base size, height, thickness of both the crude and the finished piece.

Ultimately I want to assign;

bg = system parameter
ag = system parameter
sg = system parameter

(G indicates the rough piece)




bf = system parameter
af = system parameter
sf = system parameter

(f indicates the raw piece)

In this way I could automatically have the data to export and to make cost calculations.

I'm trying to figure out where to go and find these parameters, but I just can't.

I prefer to import quotas also because if the piece is complex I doubt that pro-e gives a diagonal usable.

I understand.......but I want to make everything automated, in practice if you can assign the info about the odds to the variables as I indicated above, the designer doesn't have to worry about having to go read the quotas manually.

having the quotas that are automatically updated with the project you are sure to have the data always updated to be able to use them in the calculation of the costs.

I basically already know how to extract structured data from a .txt file, but clearly it can also interest others. more than anything, it will be more trivial but I don't know, I don't know how to save the bom in a .txt file.

that file I posted I basically use it to avoid coding twice.
as I have access to the sql tables server of our management system I make a queries of settlement or update on the base table of the analog articles of sql populated or updating it with the parameters of the .prt proe.
probably in the near future I will go, starting from a .asm collection, to popular not only the table of the analogue articles, but also that of the distinct base, so that I do not have to do twice the distinct (in proe and in the management system).

As for the reverse problem (write from management to proe) I must understand well whether it can be productive or not for the company in which I work.
other potential of bees that are not access to data I have not explored them. However, if there is someone who has a problem I can look well at the properties and methods of specific bees objects.

I am currently using version 5 with 64-bit so, have you been able to test something with this configuration?
