wf3 - modifiche family table con open office

good morning to all, I write (after 2 years) in the sub-forum "configuration" because the question is generic, not linked to specific problems of modeling, and... maybe solved with some setting of the config or windows
is it possible to change the family table with open office calc, instead of with excel?on my office station is installed only open office, and of course when I click on the icon "modifies current table with excel" nothing happens...I saw looking with google a similar problem of people who have office 2010, but without answer. .

found the usual sad but effective system to bypass the problem:

- export the family table in "text" mode
- edit to pleasure with note block the .ptd file
- re-import the file

Obviously it is a reasonable system only for simple family tables...but it is a start.

someone with wf4, wf5 or creo has already verified whether the compatibility problem persists or is there no longer?

I go to memory.. try this way:
in the config.pro set:
part_table_editor = editor
pro_editor_command = full launch path of openoffice scalc.exe.

save and close and restart

Unfortunately it does not work: I set the first parameter on "editor", but then for the second parameter the path "c:\programs\openoffice.org 3\program\scalc.exe" does not give signs of life. Obviously I tested the path even with explores resources, and it is correct.

I have the same problem. .

at first I thought the problem was with the path "c:\program files (x86)\libreoffice 3.5\program\scalc.exe" because it has the spaces but I made all the combinations with "part_table_editor" and "pro_editor_command" but calc never leaves :frown:
