I have a very small problem,
I modeled for demonstration this zipper,
assigned materials/loads/ constraints/ and mesh...

And then?

my fem analysis panel is "hardened", yours?

How do I do an analysis?
to know if it breaks or not? to shoot an analysis video? html of the report ?

I need to install more software, wasn't there a lite fem license on wf4?

What makes me think is that you write that you have done mesh too!
in fact in previous versions of wf4 (and I also believe wf4), you can:
- set what you set up and export the model to a fem program
- set material loads and constraints, choose the type of analysis, display (deformed or not and with what scale of deformation, display " fringes", etc.) and make the analysis to pro/mechanica which will use its automatic mesh

absolutely not! It makes me think because one of the first times that I "fighted" in pro/mechanics, I made the mistake of creating mesh and then I couldn't do the analysis because pro/m uses its automatic mesh.

from applications - mechanica.
deselect fem mode
choose for example structure
under model set material constraints and loads
under annalisys impose the type of analysis, breaking criteria, etc.
then run

Maybe it's a build thing.
I heard that fem lite will be available for all versions of wf5 while for wf4 only from a certain build on (I don't remember if from m060 or m070).
check with your dealer, you should know the details.

mechanica lite is available free of charge from pro-e wildfire 4.0 m070, you have to cmq get regenerated licenses.
