Hello everyone,
I have a problem that I can't find an answer. I have a motor of 150 cc to two cylinders, two times with a nominal power of 18cv that turns to a number of turns of 7500 rpm. I have to take the number of laps around 921 rpm. the first stage of reduction I thought to make it belt (for vibration reasons) with a ratio of 1:2, thus reaching a number of laps of approximately 3750 rpm. then having to transmit the bike to an orthogonal tree to mine I thought well to use a couple of conical gears. at this point I find myself with a couple always of about 18 cv and a number of turns of 3750. using a pinion with 16 teeth and a wheel with 60 teeth and a 2.5 module, I find an effort on the tooth (route conducted) of about 1500 mpa! I was going to use a plastic gear...:frown: at this point I have to force to use a steel gear!!! But... is lubrication necessary? ?
precise... I could have used a larger module etc. etc. But I must remain content both as spaces but especially as weights!!! :frown:
so if I increase the module decreases my effort but I increase the size of the wheel!!! =((I mean to me it would be good to have also two steel wheels with teeth and module that I said before but nn would be good to add a lubrication carter :frown:
otherwise I was thinking about any other solution. . .
every advice is accepted! ! !
thanks for the attention
