what's to make with showcase?

I was told that to make objects made with inventor, in addition to the inventor studio environment, I can use a separate program called showcase.
what advantage would there be to use the latter, the images are better? Why, what changes?

hdr maps are found on the net many for a fee but as many for free, e.g. http://www.openfootage.netthe example of the beach however was created simply by inserting an image in a hdr environment already present in the showcase, adapting it adequately to the shape of the hdr environment and I would say with a good outcome. in this showcase is phenomenal and objectively with a limited commercial cost.

Nice site. You can give me some tips on where to copy the hdr files (they're the backgrounds, right? )

hdr environments are used not only by showcase but by many other software (maya, 3dsmax, etc.)
are not only backgrounds but much more, are 3d illuminated environments.
