wheels dentate inventor 2009

I noticed that creating toothless wheels with inventor 2009, the teeth profiles are not evolving but are simplified with an approximate radius.
thus generates me an incorrect math, which loaded into a fast prototyping machine, makes me get a non-functioning detail.
Someone knows how I can solve the problem.

..... if you have to "protect" you should build the tooth profile

I tried to look but no it seems to me to find what I was looking for... or better I found something autocad but I can't make it work with my version.
