Good morning to all, I haven't been writing for a while, but I follow you and recommend this forum to all my colleagues!
in the company has returned pressing the topic pdm / plm and have predicted these 3 options:
(1) aras
2) pro.file
3) rule designer

Is there any user who can help me with his experience? reseller on no, is not important, just have experiences in the world pmd/plm.. .

and some technical daily user of pdm features?

Thank you all!

goodI use document but among the three cheti have presented rule designer is the most complete

I use fusion (new version of rule designer) and on the definition of the validations of the designs is a bomb, practically it is impossible to miss. Sure that compared to the design frees some limits you create it, but the advantages are infinitely superior, already widely overcome by the fact that when you check-in automatically generates the various files accessories (pdf, pdf3d, dxf of the developed for the sheet..). the initial configuration must, however, be well followed by those who know perfectly the productive needs and ut.

Good morning, I take this discussion to see if someone else uses fusion of rule designer .
.. and if you had the opportunity to try it in massive changes.
I mean replacing one or more codes in different separate ways automatically by not changing each separate step by step.

I remember in other workplace I used a very dated program (sigea) but that these things could do quietly
-you specified the entry code(s)
- you specified the code(s)
-the father codes involved in the change (i.e. the distinct at the just higher level), perhaps even the date on which to replace. . He only landed on the qty, the ones actually went back to check..
the convenient thing that once the change the replacements made them automatically carpet on all the specified fathers, were obviously untied modifications from the 3d assemblies connected to those father codes .. but still a very useful tool!

hi, what you describe was done a few months ago by solid-rules.
As it was about to go to the plm teamcenter there was a need to better settle the existing data before migration and massive modifications were made in the old axioms automatically.
