as I have already reiterated in other posts the product is and is also productive. It's different, more than they make you believe. you also work well in different people ( logically you need to know what you do, even your colleagues.....). The bidirectionality you would have at equal release. if I don't remember the export is bidirectional, but access to enovia with v5 and work in collaboration I think it has a separate cost. details not specified initially.....we are in the cloud. everything depends on the goodness of the connection. we are in deficit for this. infrastructure here is lacking. a few months ago abroad from a 3dx customer went like a missile. here we have strong limits. in your condition I do not know if it would be convenient to leave with v5. has a cost, then the future move to 3dx would not be free. We have already tried this. v5 has not had important updates in recent years. 3dx is updated almost weekly with patches, twice a year with new releases. I think I understand that developers are all on 3dx. the passage is not painless at all. That's why I think there's so much distrust. we have been on this project for 2/3 years now. in the past I have already experienced the same situation with other software. The passage is always traumatic. but in the end everyone has always gone on. even because if v5 can no longer be developed by infrastructural limits and by logic a little dated is that you can do miracles forever. I think they're already doing them now with still very high productivity. I had asked to anticipate the passage just to get ready to when there was migration. but here I see a little gray the situation. the target to which they point with 3dx is no longer that of v5. or high level, or small with cloud structure. the middle way passes to other, especially because of the "impositions" due to the plm. not all accept it, many pass to other solutions without even evaluating. and many high-level customers do not like the impositions dictated by the choices dassault.
I don't know what to think exactly. in the mold industry from what is told to me we are the only ones in the area indicated initially. I hope I made the right choice at this point. Boh...

work for a large French group working in the automotive sector, a great deal of 3dexperiece, but in fact French cousins continue to use v5.
I also ask always questions to our dealer who pushes in that direction, in turn pushed by dassault.
until they compel me, I stay with v5-6, this does not remove my curiosity for the much decantated potential of commercials.

apart from cases like me working abroad, I would say that in the area maranello someone is there (about 0:30 and later ) .

I had heard of maranello. But I can't say how many projects started with this system. However, they certainly have stations.
