This is the starting directory, which pro/e also uses for writing trail files, on the evidently there are no writing permissions for the user windows you are using.
Create a directory in which you will insert your configuration files and indicate it as a starting directory.

Pro/e novice?
the starting directory is specified in the startup icon.
Right-click on the program's starting icon and then look at the attached image.
in the "from" input box you must specify the above directory.

no, the window that I posted before comes out when the CD doesn't even start.
Meanwhile today I tried to install version 4.
That didn't bother me.
the only thing I noticed with wildfire 4 is slowness, e.g. in sketch mode after tracking the axes "lock" with the writing (not responding).
then I create a circle and again I have to wait to change the quotas.
all lasts a few moments, but it is not normal.
Now I have to see if it is the graphics card(nvidia geforce 7025),the processor(amd phenom 9850 quad core,or the little memory(2gb of which 1.75 still usable)
