Hello everyone, I'm new to the windchill environment and I'm starting to get more serious about the system.
I was wondering what could be the best way to send files to a supplier and keep track of it.
the advisor who made us the course claims that going through the packages is the best way.
we develop for most sheet metal parts, and to our suppliers we limit ourselves to sending a step el 3d file of the piece and a pdf of the quoted table.:mixed:
the package instead sends an infinity of information that can be contained within a zip. if the person who receives the zip compartment finds inside a myriad of information that he does not need anything and must start digging between the various folders and files to extract what he really needs.
Does anyone know a different road?
I thank very much everyone who can give me some suggestions.
