i am pleased to let you know that we have now completed the certification of nx 8.5 on windows 8.
there is one important caveat:
license server install
the version of the license server (version 5) included with nx8.5 media does not support windows 8. version 6.2 of the license server, which supports windows 8, is available on the gtac download site to resolve this issue.
this download is only required if you plan to run the license server on windows 8.
