workstation hp z400 intel xeon w3550 1468euri
6gb ram, tb hd, win 7 64 bit
3 years
Nividia framework 2000 gb 446euri

I offered 2 alternatives for addition of ram.

n°3 additional ram from 4 gb to 200 euro/cad
n°2 additional ram from 2 gb to 89 euro/cad

to reach the 12gb what is better?

As a figure it seems to me similar to what we paid in the firm for a car like this a few months ago...

for ram I seem to remember that it is better to use memory benches 3 to 3 to use the maximum of available channels;

for the hd if you work locally better have a small hd for swap/paging programs/files etc. + 1 hd big for data, if you lean on a server instead just a hd only.


for the rest I really hope your choice is good... Because that's what I have! ;-)
