xline blocked

good morning, point in white I found myself using this command and once selected the first point of origin in indicating the second point the line assumes a different behavior from the usual blocking itself vertically or horizontally.
Can anyone explain what I've done? Thank you.

I press that I use little and nothing this command, but doing a test, if I type the command "xline" and click directly to draw, creates the line and gives me the possibility to choose the second point (sx lines of the attached photo), while if I type the command and choose one of the "vertical" modes "horizontal" creates a line on the respective axis chosen without possibility to choose the second point (line)
