I'm a mechanical designer, working in a biomedical company.
I am new to the community and I hope I have identified the right forum to ask for advice about my problem.

I need to make a small dissipator on a driver of an electronic card.
I am looking for a supplier of a profiled or extruded aluminum that reminds a lot of that of a heat sink, in pennies those you often see on audio amplifiers.

some measures:
support base (one side corresponds to the profile extraction section)
17mmx17mm (drive or processor base)

h_max= 8/10 mm

made with an aluminum base to stick to the driver and many vertical fins.
do you know someone or work in some company that can provide these profiles? ?

Maybe if you take a look at sites like www.distrelect.it or http://it.rs-online.com/web/of dissipators of all species, shapes and sizes you find already beautiful that ready and tested for every specific use.
start with something commercial, therefore safe and above all easily available, and then according to the development of the product calculations if it is necessary to make them extrude on purpose.

that is, if a post-domain need to produce in quantity of the order of the thousands of pieces, then you would already know what kind and size to build, without risking to throw time and money for matrices, test productions, etc.

p.s. for my brother shiren: to have the matrix from extrusion in gift of quintals to produce it needs at least 15 or 20. and in some cases 50 are not enough.
Obviously staying at the prices you indicated. if instead one agrees to pay the profile a 2 or 3 euro per kg. more...

I sized a cooling system with forced ventilation for a slightly bizarre application...cmq the shape of the heatsink is a classic compact heatsink but instead of being straight is about 3/4 ring with a bending radius of about 300mm. at this point (because I am mainly a calculist) I was doubtful: "I build it with an extruded or I rub the wings and then piego the wings and I fill them/brase/what is best?"

for the "long" line
