Good morning to all!!! and down snoweee !!!

there has never happened a .par file that you can not open in environment part. if you try to insert it into a draft, this message appears "impossible to create drawing views for errors in the geometry of the model. a common cause is the wrong geometry of the imported model. revision the template file to resolve errors in geometry." that if you try to insert it into an assembly, this other message "impossible to insert the part".

but I can open it using "view and annotation"....

I don't know how to heal him! !

Thank you so far for your help!

I don't remember if that's the exact phrase, but it happened to me that, importing geometries from other cads, there were errors right on the body. with inspector geometry corrected and then put on the table.
the error, if not erro, refers however to the display of the masses at the table.
Hi.

the file was created with a newer version of itself.
I did the test now.
You're screwed!

If you're just interested in recovering geometry you might see if those cads that import files of themselves are able to do the job. try loading the file and maybe someone with swx or alibre design turns it into step.

What version do you use?
I created a file with st2.
then I went to 20 and:
- I created a new set and important the piece of st2 gives me the mistake you said
I tried to put him on the table and he gave me the same message.
I think that's it.
or your version does not recognize that format because too old.

I use 20. I have a mess of details created with versions ranging from 3 to 12, with which I have no problem.... .

a l'è un bèl fat .... !!!

is it not that by chance someone opened that file with a newer version and you have to use it with the v20 now you're in trouble?

Have you tried on other machines?
Is there a way to see with what version was made?
Maybe send us the file!
Maybe you did it with an academic version?
I'm shooting.
Hi.

Here's the annex!

the speech of the academic license could be there....the first time there was a lot of confusion: new company, new program, myriads of licenses and so on.... .

I think that file has big problems. It doesn't even open 7-zip. Solid edge manco talk about it.

Is it not that someone made you a joke and took a pdf or doc file and changed its extension?

the zip opens it, there is the par but with st2 I can't open it, even with view and annotation. It's gonna be okay.

I tried to rename the file in .txt there are data that lead to a file generated with solid edge, I found an acis writing, but I don't understand why it doesn't open it. according to me you damaged the file

I mean, usually with 7-zip, you can disappear the par files and see what's inside, but in this case you don't even do this.

p.s. with view and annotation opens. Anyway, it's a very small toothed pulley, it's done first to remake it. . .

the file is 1998.
actually does not open.
tried with 20 and st2. I also tried with sight and annotation and crashed the program.
I think you'll be damaged.
