Hello everyone, I'm panicking: I am modeling a raddle (a ring whose profile has two tilted planes compared to the worktop) and I have to make two symmetric holes compared to a plane
as it is quoted the design I have the angle of the symmetry plane (inclined of a tot compared to a reference plane and the distance "linear" between this reference plane and the hole center and the linear distance between center and edge (distance along the slope therefore)
I place the hole on the surface of the raddle, rightly the axis of the hole is perpendicular to the surface but I can not give references to position it.
in a few words think gives me an angle distance from a xy plane of the absolute reference system and gives me a height from the outer edge of the ralla.
I'm trying to create a datum plan or a datum point on which to support the hole center but I can't in any way, can someone help me?
I have another question: is it possible to draw a threaded hole passing and decide the height of the thread? if I use threaded hole passing (or through surface succ) this option is not given to me and it seems impossible, then either I do a pre-work and then over the blind threaded hole with depth equal to that of the threaded height or I do not know just how to do it. .
thanks early to all.
