inventor on virtual machine

Good morning to all, good start for those who have already begun.

I have the following problem, in order to avoid burdens of the operating system I have created a virut machine in which I went to install inventor 2008 , everything works but when I open files I blow all the menu bars , I think the problem is to be searched in the virtual video card that seems to have only 128 mb ,
the sitema and wimlite with xp mode.

advice and experiences?

hi design77, try with wmware with special machine with simulated graphics card with directx. go to the website http://www.easyvmx.com/ and create the virtual machine as indicated and abounds on the features.

so the only way is to use win ware, wimlite and virtualbox is not possible, I use these two currently.

is wmware paid or I remember badly?

the viewer is free, you register to download it but it is free wmware player! and the virtual machine you create it from the site I wrote above. install everything, and then install the s.o. on the virtual machine and install inventor.

Start the virtual vacuum machine, insert the xp cd or the sistma you want to install, it's okay also an iso, up there is a menu to decide what to point. . and so begins installation, no more or less as installing a physical pc.

I have to buy a laptop to run some 3d drawing programs, including inventor11;
Unfortunately, we know that it is certified only for winxp 32bit.

I thought I would mount 2 disks on the new machine, so I had 2 separate operating systems: on the first I would put win7 64bit, on the second winxp 32bit;
on the first I would turn proe wf5, while on the second note inventor11.

for this I ask you, is it a valid solution? or recommend 1 disk only and use inventor11 with xpmode?

Hello, everyone.
I would like to try installing an old version of inventor 2011 on virtual machine on linux. just for the curiosity to see if it is feasible. I see someone like mechanicalmg tried to do it. Does anyone have results? travel the 3d? Thanks for the answers.

in its time i.e. 7/8 years ago did not make more than anything for the video card shared by physical machine on virtual...magari now it is better
