Good morning. If I understood the messages I read here, the nx price ranges from $130 of a student version to €20,000 of a commercial version.

Does anyone have any idea how much linux could cost, at least roughly?

I do not believe that prices vary based on the platform but only according to the bundle you want to buy, however it is certainly not open source:smile:

I've seen that you've written "recommend me" in signature under "software", I can tell you that if you go on nx you're not sure wrong.

I think the basic nx module costs about 10,000, but the risk of saying something unexpected is very strong. . .

Yes, in fact it is exactly what I wrote in my presentation messages, and precisely that the reason (clear prices published on the web and transparent purchasing mode) for which at the moment my choice is restricted to inventor lt (purchase on misco, eprice ,etc.) and alibre (the price of which is published on the dealer sites).

However, in the end some wellinformed has "confessed" the prices of solidedge, solidworks, pro/e; I was hoping to post here, to succeed in discovering I do not say the exact price of nx/linux, but at least know if it is in the price range of inventor lt / alibre or that of solidedge/solidworks and beautiful company... .

to me they told about 18,000 the basic module a short time ago that I was contacted by a dealer.

if your budget is for autocad lt or alibre let it miss nx...

from what I remember, you start from less than 10k, and anyway with the "base module", you can really do a lot.

list prices range from 9,000 (8.770 for accuracy) to 24.460 euros (more spent on special things e.g.advanced simulation 40,000 and passes). as axa says with the 'base' version you already do a lot of things.
there are then to be taken into consideration the canons of maintenance, training, pc etc. etc.
Informing yourself costs nothing if you have special questions send me an mp.

thanks for the availability, but at this point I would say that the order of magnitude is definitely outside of my reach even only for the basic version.

removed this doubt, I will fill up on the cheap entry-level software that had been recommended to me immediately; you will read me about the threads dedicated to them.

nx is worth all the money they ask... is the top of the top set in catia v5... but personally I prefer it 1000 times a catia is much more versatile and fast... .

the top ... all the rest ... from that cube of rubrik of pro/e to the superbaggato solidworks up to the various codes-porcai type inventor, spacequa', solid-là etc... They wouldn't even deserve to be produced or marketed!
