Hello everyone
smart question of a young man working on my dependencies: it is possible to export the content of a ft by generating a .prt file for each instance of the original ft ..

apart from the save a copy after opening each individual instance ... or creating a mapkey I couldn't answer :36_1_5:
Do you have any ideas?

as always thanks in advance and good to make .:finger:

for what purpose?
the advantage of the family table lies in the fact of managing with a single file x variants, so I struggle to understand where the intelligent question is, it is only if the purpose is to open the files directly to bring them to a cam.
you can also see them separately at the opening without necessarily switching from the generic, there is an option that allows you to view all variants, but the file is always unique.

greetings

...it is a commercial part ft with about 80 instances a customer asked us to model some groups (with modeling) with their corporate encoding between the parts to model there are many of these instances
that obviously we would not want to re-model but simply extract from ft and save in .ed* format

I understand and rightly doesn't make any sense to remodel them.
that I know there are no options that massively export ft files to proe, only with a pdm you can do it, so the saving copy of the instance with a macro is the fastest thing you can do.

greetings

Bye-bye.

another system is to open the variant of ft and delete the relative row in the ft in the generic, so doing pro-e you charge in session a .prt equal to the old variant.

but if you set the option in the config.pro:

menu_show_instances on yes

you have the possibility to open a variant directly without the recovery of the generic and at that point you expose it to the format you want, without saving the variant "physically" on file system.

thanks parametric_ozzy :4425:

At the moment, I'd say it's the best way to combine ease and speed.
