I have been following this post for a while but I have never intervened but since I have seen that you have a lot of difficulty: eek: maybe some extra advice doesn't hurt.

In my opinion, if you have hyometric drawings (sometimes actual, they are not very clear, especially if you are at the end of drawing and mechanics) you should use simple, classic 3 views, to start and then follow some sw tutorials of objects (you find them on the net), so as to better understand the construction technique. starting from the important things and then getting to the details and not the contrary as rightly pointed out mike1967.
