if I impose a value on element size and then I want to return to the value of defualt as I do? Obviously without having to reconstruct the analysis from scratch...

Thank you.

I changed the title (mesh not mash).
if you have done the analysis and change the value it is obvious that the analysis must be done again! analysis depends on mesh.
if you want to return to the default value you have to delete or suppress the emission size, reset the mesh (I don't remember how you do it) and remake the mesh

That's right. .

If you don't realize mesh, how do you think you can launch the analysis? !

a "brutal" way to return to the default value of the Element size is to clean the mesh (areas, volumes) save the "geometria". close ansys.

reopen ansys and work!

per rebuild analysis of course I mean reimporting geometry and creating connections and constraints. Of course if you change the evidence size the analysis turns again to have the solution, until there I think that there is no doubt.
I just need to figure out how to reset the mash and do it again with the default emission size without reimporting geometry and creating all connections.

I work in wb 14.5. trying to make clear generated data then cmq reappreciate the mash value previously set and not the default element size.

the volaff procedure also works for the wb version 14.
first delete the item size, then right button on the mesh, clear (I don't remember what it writes in the menu, but it removes results, mesh, analysis, etc.) and then remake the mesh and you will see that it works.
I tried it 30 minutes ago and it works.

ps. but do you have the automatic concealer? mesh, not mash!! ;)

Forgive me, but I still don't understand.
now I have a mesh of 3mm and I want to return to the default value that sets ansys whatever it is.
You tell me to eliminate the settlement size. How? If I go on element size the only thing I can do is change it with another number.

I found it. just set 0 on element size and automatically the default word appears on element size.

Thanks anyway!

excuse a moment, but what is the reason why you want to use the default value?

is there a particular reason or do you want to do it right for...?

Of course just put on 0.
I generally insert an element size control from the mesh context menu. That's why I said I'd delete it.
