what can you tell me about buildingsus acca?

Good morning to all, if I can leave my experience, I can say that archline.xp has no rivals in terms of value for money.
the price does not exceed 3000 euros for the full version of everything, and do not need other programs.
with less than half I take home revit lt...keit yourself archlines

sin ke revit is not a real cad, you need autocad.. a real 3d..
Of course, for the type of projects you do, you have enough. .

fair saie 2010, I ask a technician autodesk about what could tell me about the modeling of the layers and the sguinci and what differences were there with archlines. answer: no I'm sorry we're not at that level yet.

Are you kidding me? Don't talk about things you don't know. .

ask me the question you asked him

please, do not try to see only in one direction, that you find yourself well is an account, that is actually superior, at least give yourself a doubt and try to look at it. .

so much to begin the revit lt version of sure is not even remotely comparable with archline.xp: you do not have rendering, and you lack many architectural features including beams and clouds of points. if you have to make a comparison, both in terms of functions, and price, compare revit in its full version. (What is it now? ? )

comparing top versions of the two programs, at least until a couple of years ago, revit was lower on:
- intuition and ease of use. (this is actually subjective)
- modeling: recovery architecture, management of non-regular forms, modeling not strictly parametric as roofs for generator, times, niches and sguinci.
- drawing 2d: by memory, to retouch a section with elements 2d you have to go in autocad, with archlines you do it directly.
- architectural relief
- calibration of images for distances and coordinates with return of waste.
- the photographic straightening
- photographic simulation and virtual staging.

not to mention all the integrated functions of the interior world that have added in recent versions, now indispensable to present the project to customers.

said this, maybe we're going out thematic, who reads this post asked for a comparison with buildingsus, and how you brought your experiences with archicad and revit, I just made it clear that there is also archlines that I think is very valid.

then everyone will choose the product with which it is better, easier, and more suitable for its needs..

you do not have rendering, and you lack many architectural features including beams and clouds of points.
Well, the rendering has it even if only cloud-based; moreover the beams are there (what is missing is the beam system) and the clouds of points now as they are now useless.
if you have to make a comparison, both in terms of functions, and price, compare revit in its full version. (What is it now? ? )
now costs 7000€ but also includes autocad, autocad architecture, autocad mep, autocad structural detailing, 3ds max design, sketchbook designer and showcase. See you...
- modeling: recovery architecture, management of non-regular forms, modeling not strictly parametric as roofs for generator, times, niches and sguinci.
If you can use it revit, you do everything you want including the one above.
- drawing 2d: by memory, to retouch a section with elements 2d you have to go in autocad, with archlines you do it directly.
bad memories; Everything is done in revit. on the bottom left in the attached table you can see a particular executive made entirely in revit with parametric objectshttp://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/37894364/m13.pdf
- architectural relief
- calibration of images for distances and coordinates with return of waste.
- the photographic straightening
- photographic simulation and virtual staging.
the architectural relief do not do it with arches; maybe you mean the return...the part of "photogrammetria spicciola" in fact misses but thanks to 123d catch and 3ds max design mentioned above, it absolutely does not feel the lack.
the part of walk through also makes it revit lt that indeed, thanks to the rendering on the cloud generates 360° panoramic images
please, do not try to see only in one direction, that you find yourself well is an account, that is actually superior, at least give yourself a doubt and try to look at it
You should do the same.
If it were, as you say, the best sw in quality/price ratio would be a lot more locations around. I never met a client who used it. .
Anyway, you're right. we have gone a lot

I bought buildingsus at the end of 2013.
I can only tell you that I demanded back the money acca because the software is not dignifiedly compatible with the common cad, but even with the sw of acca itself as termus.

Don't waste your money.

thanks for feedback.
but having bought it at the end of 2013 do you not think you have used it too little to give a judgment? What do you mean, "dignifiedly compatible"?

I don't know archlines, from the pictures on the site looks nice. Obviously I don't even know advantages and disadvantages compared to other solutions.

Although this statement will create controversy, piracy and free student versions, but especially piracy, have spread knowledge of certain programs. today all the people in the sector, a bit awake, know the 2 or 3 most important software.

since
1) It is rare that the product of a small software house can be better than market leaders.
2) It is rare that a person uses time and effort to study another software. if you do so you will take into account the preceding assumption.

if these software we say “alternative” do not have some really exceptional features, and obviously equally exceptional support and promotion is difficult to get out of the market niche in which they are located.

also because we are in time when software, even enough blasons, die with great ease. therefore professionals prefer to spend their time and money on solution with the most likely to survive over time.
