bye to all,
i've been in my head for a while, but i haven't been able to find anyone around.
to try.... at fairs or demonstrations... .
i wanted to gather some opinions on the 3d connexion mouse!! !
i think they should not be bad (except the price!!)especially the space pro series so you have some more configurable key
with some function and the central wheel i think is really comfortable!!!! !
what do you think? ....someone's already using some pattern? ?

i use it and i couldn't help it anymore.
i had the old serial models with programmable texts (which i never used) and now i have the spacemouse, the simple one with 2 keys. (approximately 100 heur)
i don't even use these two keys.
the spacemouse i use it alongside a blinded mouse, with programmable keys and rotella for the naked and raw zoom, without unwanted rotations.
the classic mouse, on the right hand, is replaced by an old wacom tablet 0405a that i use with the stylus, also he with two planned keys.

hello.....hmmmm well has how i understood it is convenient....as i think!! !
but i don't follow you when you say that the space mouse uses it alongside another mouse (always left??!?!) ...and on the right hand a tablet? ? ?

i also use it, the simple one with two keys because from "private", i could not afford a more "performant" and not knowing the product, initially, i did not want to spend an exorbitant figure for something that i did not know if it would come back useful or not.
now i wouldn't do any less, the two keys are configured for the initial view one and for the zoom selection the other, if you had to break i would take that with some extra configurable key because i use a lot of keyboard commands and, sometimes, move the left hand between 3d mouse and keyboard, i bump.
for me is a real comfort!

i have the keyboard in the middle. to left the spacetraveler for 3d movements and more to left a programmable mouse to which i blinded the laser.
i use it for the scheduled keys according to the program i use and for the wheel that, besides the classic scroll, allows me to zoom without rotation when i use inventor.
a dx i use the wacom with the stylus, because more ergonomic of the mouse and much more precise.
the accuracy with cad 3d is much less important than with autocad, program that i used when i bought it, despite this i keep using it because i find it very comfortable and i never had bad on the wrist ( work much more than 10 hours a day for years )

Hi, Ilario,
Well I see that you're comfortable too..... I'm almost convincing myself!
I also thought about the convenience of having some configurable keys so as to avoid as much as possible
the use of the keyboard.... it is also true that those with a little cabbage keys do not have a very cheap price! ! !
is not bad idea of stefanobruno to use a mouse next to the space only for the keys but I think it succeeds because it uses the tablet!?? .....because if I do on two accounts at least for me I would have to right the vertical mouse (which I find very convenient)that I use normally, to sx put the space for the 3d movements and next as another mouse maybe to 4/5 keys (accepted )!... but I don't think that I will have to configur 3 mouse !!!

Hi.
I have both the space mouse pro and the space pilot and I look great (especially the shoulders)!

I have the space traveler that with 8 programmable keys and I go great. I have configured every key for every design/modeling environment and I must say that I am really well

It'll take you a week to get used to your use, especially to remember that when you're focused on work.
bhe dai is not a problem.... if it is so convenient! !
.... at most I put a couple of dots on the keyboard so I will remember
definitely before using the mouse!!!

to think that I tried it a couple of years ago, then I didn't find it and put it back in the box (provided about an hour) I realize that I had to insist more, of course that feeling so many positive comments makes me want to try again

I've been using it for years and when I happen to have to work on a colleague's pc or a client who doesn't feel lost and I keep stretching my hand...

At the moment I use the two-button navigator but I would like to switch to the new wireless, which on the two buttons allows to configure up to 8 commands in two radial menus.

Do you know you have me curious?
on amazon is the model 3dconnexion space mouse3d - 2 buttons - wireless, at an affordable price.
What do you say?
Is it a valid model?

I think yes, it's worth taking it to try.

the wireless allows to use the new 3dxware 10 driver, which is also that of the higher units, while the 2-button navigator with the cable no and I don't get it will be possible.

is with the 3dxware10 that you have radial commands on the buttons.

on the site of the 3dconnexion in fact they call it wireless spacemouse and not navigator. I think the reason is the different software.
