Hi, it's my first caller info message. I have already submitted more
a year ago, but then for business issues nx remained unused until
today, finally the client is starting to give us some work and I am
the chosen person to carry out them.

I'm gonna press that we own a mach2 license. I did two courses with siemens
(with their team3d patner I greet).
I was obliged, always for
contractual obligations with the customer to install version 8.5.3.3 mp3. I have
the customizations of the customer that, among other things, blocked me
the customer default.

That's what I said, here's my stupid questions:

1) working I often find myself moving from 'modeling' environment to
environment 'drafting' but, if for example, I open a table and are in
environment modeling the stroller does not happen automatically, but
I have to click the 'start' button and choose 'drafting' (or vice versa) or
press ctrl+shift+d (drafting) or 'm' (modeling)
Can't you set this automatic step?

2) how do you represent modeling welding? My
license obviously does not own the specific package

3) how do you create carpenters? I don't think I've found anything
similar, for example, to structural members of solidworks

Hi, questions are never stupid, answers sometimes.
1) is not possible this because the nx file has the prt extension always so the system does not know if you are opening a model or drafting.
2) I worked for a company that represented welding as extrusion or sliding solids or with other modeling crafts, to create exactly the desired welds, so that they could be represented correctly in drafting (not only symbolically).
3) I don't know the sw module so if you do an example maybe I can help you.

3) I don't know if there is a special nx module (I looked around a bit but I didn't find anything). If so you should think about how you want to proceed: if in a single file or together (which you can still generate later). I therefore think that there are no other solutions except what you suggested, perhaps using sketch bookcases (profile laws).

2) Weldings often form with extruded strings, sometimes they do not model (many do) at the end they make up on the drawings with the indications of the soldering, in nx there is a very complete function for this.

3) switching from draft to modelling is not immediate because you come across the drawing modeling environment (nx shy), what I do is navigate from drawing to modeling using the model structure:
make work part;
make display part;

or opening the various codes from the window.

1) curiosity: why do you join? if in the options of extrusion select 'no' you do not manage then better?

that I do...an annotation for every welding cord? What if I have 27 welding cords?
