hello to all and good evening.

I have a question to ask you and for which I write and place 2 images. from the ownership management of if, I do not find to be able to insert the weight/mass column. As you can see, I have inserted everything I need and going to one of a column rather than another with the propspeed I have configured the words to be able to recall and edit at the time of the rescue so that the draft picks up the various values (description, mat, sp etc.) now my problem is purely functional and so I ask you, as it is possible that I can not select and not have the possibility to pull out the whole column. Do I have to activate or create a variable in individual files with a precise call? Thank you for your help.

I want to point out that I found where the variable mass is located in the table of variables and I also found how to expose it, but if I change together or part in the mass box of the properties no longer appears to me any value until I return to the paritetic variables to check the "expos" box

what you are looking for shows with the button next to what you pressed in the first image (properties manager).

in any case it is not necessary to "expose" the mass property in order to be able to use it in reports, parts list, calls etc.

I wish I could have it in column as for date etc. I am aware that it is not necessary to expose it to recall it in the cartilages, but I would like to have the opportunity to see it between the columns.

Here is francesco where I work that column we have exposed it for each piece or together that we open. on my home computer instead I can't put this column to video.
How can I do that?

to make the weight appear on the cartilage insert the recall %{massa|r1}, for the list parts instead inert a column with the call %{massa (item)|g}

hi hunter, in the cartiglio are already able to expose it through the variable you wrote %{massa|r1}.

what I would like to try is in the list parts with the variable you wrote above...%{massa (item)|g}

where does the variable fit? Do you have a way to make me a screenshot?

Thank you.

Hey, here's the catch. you have to make dx--> properties on the existing parts list.

No wait, but you're in the draft and the separate parts... I need to put it in part, sheet and asm environment that function.... in the draft that property I already see it.

try to go into the data management tab and then manageon and property. you will open the list of possible columns to activate. . there are all possible data imaginable except the mass in my case. I'd like to figure out how to fit it.

Sorry I misunderstood.

I don't think the mass is there, I'm doubtful that what you have at work is a "custom" property, you show me a catch of the variable table variable variable variables?

What do you need to see the mass in the property manager? I'm asking you because maybe there's another way to do what you need.

Can you tell me where to find the point where to extract the variable so I make you a screenshot? we use it only for a functional factor so that we already have an idea of how much the weight of each individual component is, as well as overall before going to make the distinction of the pieces while we edit all the steps that will go to be recalled in the cartiglio as for example description, semi-finished starting etc. etc.

Just catch a table from which you "expose"

The only variable I have in the draft is that... which we all know. I should have been able to activate it also in the management of the properties.
You should look at the properties of the 3d from which you get the table you were showing in the attached image.

exactly. I find precisely the variable of the mass and I can expose it through the check and that point I can activate the weight column (which then will be called mass if not rhino) that I can see the desired value. the problem is that if I create a new part I must repeat this operation without being able to keep it activated automatically. as if it wasn't enough if I didn't design anything and so I have my piece with defined material and what else, the mass value I don't even see.. I don't understand how that time at work they managed to set that value.

if you showed me a screen capture of the 3d variables was all simpler, however probably the variable one created it and exposed it in the templates so that the feature is inherited from all the new files created, while instead you are probably using the standard templates.

I would immediately make you a 3d screen but it's just that I don't understand where I have to take it all here. If I explained where to find it...however you are using the stds possible that there is something propspeed to take?

I don't know where you're stuck. above you talked about the fact of exposing the variable weight and that you do it exactly from the "variable table" of the 3d. However I attach you a screen capture, do the same on a very simple piece that has very little work so it is easier to understand something, or even better attach the part so I look at it a moment, I would like to understand how the variable "weight" has been defined

As soon as I get to the office, I'll tell you that they're missing the mass that you need... .
