hello to everyone is a bit I think about it and the solution I found doesn't convince me too much... .

I have a part that is used in multiple assemblies and so far everything ok, but of that part in one set I need 10 and in the other 8 and in the other 7.
how do you manage the quantities in the tables?

I am now using a caption with indications that in the x axieme they go 8 and in the axieme y they go 10 etc....

I did not understand exactly what you mean, but the macro we said allows to write the property of the parts in different ways. so if the number of your projects is less than the names of those properties the game should be done. I mean that x along with throws the macro with the qty property, x the axieme b lanci with name and so on. Just that you have to have a x folder each time. then copies of the same part on different folders. It's not really elegant but maybe it could help you.
 
I have this macro that was developed with configuration insertion and with the ability to write the property in the files contained within a workbook and not in library files, otherwise they could create problems with other projects. You don't have to apologize, my solution, maybe it could work, but it's obviously not elegant at all, indeed. I use the "type" function of the pdm. when carrying out the drawings, or mold, a stamp is added with some info, including the quantity obtained from the active distinct. I don't write anything in the drawing, just to be able to reuse the components without going to write updated quantities all the time.

I do not use standard pdm, use ready2works and stamp function is part of the latter.
