Good evening to all,
I open this post to vent a bit and maybe have advice from who is older than me and has more experience.
I work in a company that produces automotive components as a designer in particular for dealing with r&d prototypes to test for new applications or optimizations of existing ones.
work in this company for 1 year and a half (I am 28 years old and practically is my first experience as a real designer), during this period everything I planned and project is practically not supervised by anyone
the technical manager as well as wanting to know the timing, I don't recommend anything or maybe direct myself... Given his experience of almost 20 years in the company I would expect a routing or even dicks for the baggianate that I do (and I did several) but nothing.
It is true that wrong is the best way to learn but then the blind speaks to me of productivity, that I do not bill, that they are just a weight for the company and waste money for wrong projects on departure.
is so in the entire technical office... there is no senior figure besides the manager who can give advice (I am the one with more seniority in this company).
I feel a little left to myself without supervision. ...I could also design a 15mm pin that must enter a 5mm hole and no one would notice it until the prototype assembly.
I don't say I check everything I do but a check should be there? essentially they are a junior figure
Excuse me.
