freecad will eliminate in a few years the empire of 3d parametric cads for a fee?

I do not use so intensely however use it to make gears and to make linear and non-linear fems. Compared to solidworks professional I can say that gearboxes are painful and do not have profile shift parameters and you can only make straight teeth cylindrical while freecad also makes endless screws and other. the fem module of solidworks with this license only makes linear very fast and with many options but the non-linear need of other license. freecad does not linear free of charge and with s-e curve parameters defined by the user.
as a modeling it is necessary to take our hand because the different ways of working create at first some problem but nothing insurmountable...with so much guidance.

to me it seems that those who criticize more freecad are those who have not compared it with their usual program
there is little to compare if your main customers impose a specific software.
I personally, being curious and free fans, used it by spending a lot of my spare time.
I make molds for automotive and maybe my industry is a bit out of the norm, but while engaging me to forget the uses and customs of my cad, I couldn't find solutions valid to solve my problems.
before someone accuses me of accusing myself against freecad I want to specify that it is a valid cad like so many others to pay and is great for all those who can communicate with their customers, with formats like step, iges, dxf .. point.

I confirm that on the modeling at times they run in geometric errors or impossibility to make feautures that turn out "normal" si altri cad. surely the approach for freecad should not be the same as a commercial parametric cad. ...any different logic has it....but always remains a good alternative.

However, if we stick to the topic of discussion or:

freecad will eliminate in a few years the empire of 3d parametric cads for a fee?

But do you think that a single cad can meet the needs of the many sectors?

Why not? There are cads as a cat that you do everything in all sectors. even the lowest one if you configure everything properly can.
if you look, freecad is conceived with workbenches following the philosophy of caia....the cards have them all in order to bloom.

I don't think that a software that does everything can be competitive with a specific job.
I must also be honest, I am a little bit prevented on the "gratis" or on the donation as it is painted for freecad that then.. What does donation mean? Is there a tariff?
Does it mean that if I give 1euro I have the same privileges as one that gives 1000euro?

so much to give you an example, catia also has the cam module, but I can assure you that compared to the competition there is no competition .
and despite being a cat user for the cad part I opted for a different cam with definitely better performance inherent in my work and not to be underestimated also with a lower price.

the question has already been asked and has already been answered. whether you donated any number or didn't donate, you have the same privileges to download the software and use it.

You're right. I asked the question myself.
bhe, let freecad continue with his mission. Every now and then I'll update it to the latest version and I'll go and sew.
for now I can not use it in my work cause reasons already explained

Good morning, I saw that there are, of course, various tutorials to learn how to use the software, do you have anyone to recommend?
Thank you.
