I was with someone who was called tecla but dumped me, that's why I can never use tekla:biggrin:
if you are interested in Milan there is the holy path that at the time of celentano was a very popular area. I don't remember well but there had to be some locals frequented by the vip of the time (I saw it in a documentary dedicated to Milan).

by "tekla style" I mean the possibility to insert (and change) quotas with the "dynamic" that tekla offers in the manual quotation of the pieces.

I dreamed (and hoped) there was some "travel" for the autocad quotation system that made it similar to that of tekla but, reading your post, maybe there is.
I'm still waiting.

in autocad as in tekla you can lean on programming to create new commands, for autocad of using the lisp while for tekla you can use the dotnet language (.net)

the solution obviously there is, with lisp or vba or .net we make it mark even below... but the user uses a lt version of autocad so does not support programming.

Sorry if I return to the topic but I wanted to try to use automatic quotas (those with lightning) on a couple of metal carpentry tables.
I admit that maybe for laziness I never used them but I wanted to go a little further.
They actually do exactly what you were asking, but I don't know if they're in your autocad version.
There is a limitation: when you have a set of lines the quotation is perfect but if it is present, for example, a polyline is that part some not desired quota.

I honestly don't know. I have the full version.
the command is called dimrapid or quick quotation.
try to see if writing it in autocad lt works.

the use is very simple. just click on the command (or write it by keyboard) and then select in any way the items to quote.
Basically, it generates a stack of odds that you can place wherever you want.
Just use it a little bit to get our hand.

dimrapid was introduced only in autocad lt 2011. Previous versions don't have it.

Allow me to disagree.

autocad is currently very light and allows you to do everything and more.

I continually reopen drawings dating back to 1986 and the following years, today you can even use pdf in transparency on images... but examples could be made iosa.

the subscribed gives to live for many years and, I must confess, is one of the very few programs that I gladly pay the subscription for updates.

The last one. the "big" hp abandoned the plotter designjet 500. They practically didn't make the driver for win7 anymore, but they force you to the "share" mer... autocad solves everything autonomously and makes you print directly from the "model". Not bad!!

I agree with you. the 2012 version flies. It's faster than the previous ones and it's more productive. there are many small tricks that make it very quick to use.

alt. I kept a car with xp to print from 500 but you tell me you can do it as a carcad?
Can you tell me how to set it up to make it work?
