(autosez 2) soil sections and profiles - automatic extraction

p@po,
That's a big question.

not having autocad at home, I can't test the following balzana idea: what happens if you bounce the bird, that is with the z that point down?

Maybe for a moment the lisp will believe it has to do with a line of sterro, while actually it's a carryover, just negative.

I do not think it would work because if the lisp takes the absolute values of the quotas the same problem would be present but on the contrary.

...what happens if you bounce the bird, that is, with the z pointing down?
the uct is set to global before proceeding with calculations.

p@po, I make some clarity, reitering some concepts:

- the lisp creates the profile of objects that are intercepted by the selected section line;
- objects must have higher altitudes than the "reference rate" set, if selected the output "on cartiglio", otherwise choose the option "poliline 3d on the model" o "Polyline 2d on the floor";
- autosez is not a topography program and the concept sterro/report does not exist, if drawings of the entities that per te correspond to the sterro (or carry) the lisp te the quotas;
- the entities can also be superimposed in the plant, e.g. the base lines and tops of a wall or the wall of a dig, but be careful that (as mentioned here) in the case of profiles obtained from sections containing vertical sections (not filtered) must be the operator to verify that the calculated points should not be reversed, given the ambiguity in fact it is not given to know if the point "below" or "surface" should be jointed first..

on the basis of the last concept I remind you that if imposed as input "lines and polyline 3d", the captured entities will be only of that type, i.e. that in your dwg you have both poly2d and poly3d.

the lisp "this does."

:smile:

hi, I still have files in fas format, you then assembled everything, I'm re-using it and I came up with a couple of things on the lisp accessories you did.
I look forward to good new

problem!!! Maybe someone has already answered but I can't find the discussion. . .
I can't get the longitudinal profile if the polylinea (3d) is a break whose vertices do not fall on the lines or on the top of the faces of the dtm.
vice versa the profile is correctly obtained if the vertices of the polylinea fall on the lines or on the vertices of the faces of the dtm.
This last case is in the very rare reality, because, for example, in road tracks, the axes are polylines that are drawn in planimetry regardless of the underlying dtm model.
Is there a solution? Thank you so much!

version 2 of autosez.

...
Since the code has been almost completely rewritten, I invite users to report any strange things, in case it would be appropriate to attach a portion of dwg and the autosez_2.dat file
...

.
I'm working with batimetries (negative rates): sin that the lisp does not manage quotas less than -0.5

Sorry, but if you have a poly 3d the profile is already ready, just generate it with cartiglio, read the main screen well and you will see the solution under your nose, if you want a single profile from more polylinee and you have to join with the lisp "joint3d" if you don't find it I send it to you

I don't understand. :confused: on the dtm only the lines (or 2 points) are set as sections, while if you already have the 3dpoly spread on the model you have to use another type of data extraction, as already mentioned by antoniman.

Sorry : solved ;)
In fact, I had not thought of this possibility :tongue:, I tried and it would seem to work, as it was then also you (by setting the idyllic reference share :rolleyes:).

hi gp., excuse me if you steal time, from your description -----> "for use add the autosez_2 folder to the autocad path (options\file)" ----> I did so: ----> I downloaded the folder "autosez_2.zip2" on the desktop, I disappeared,-> the folder "autosez_2", I copied it in "sorse
After I went to the command line and wrote "asez" ---> unknown command, I rewrote "asez_2" still unknown command............ .
You would help me solve this problem...... also because they say that it is "autosez_2" is an excellent application.... thanks ...save.

the lisp is loaded before launching it:

command apploadfile type -> Swimming stick visual lisp (*.vlx)search and select autosez_2.vlx
clicca su charge charge and then Shut up!the command to type to launch the lisp is asto automatically dispose of autosez at each launch of autocad add the file in the start group in appload\contain\addition

p.s.: everything was written in posts #3 and #4 :smile:

thanks to have already replied, cmq I did as you said, I managed to load but when I go to type the command "as" opens a window with an error message ("base.dcl" impossible to find the file.) click on ok and recompile another window (if you want to upload the check file of the dialog box.) click on ok and recompile another window (i) semantic (idoc
p.s. for the rest I did as already written for the post #33

greetings to you

base.dcl is an autocad configuration file, look for it in the pc and add its folder to\file options.

Hi.
I can't generate a profile from a 3dpoly whose vertices do not touch the faces of the dtm. can you send me the lisp "joint3d" politely? Thank you so much!

thanks gp., and compliments for "creature".
cmq I have the application "profile" that generates the progilo giving x,z if it can serve you let me know, even to implement your "creature" with an additional type of impt.
Thank you.

for micheledag

I'm sorry, but I didn't understand the problem, so you need a lisp called dtm, you find it everywhere if you don't send an email to antoniman@interfree.it that I send it to you;

with this lisp you can (among other commands ) you can get the 3d quota relative to a point on the xy plane, I explain better: if you already have a 3dface model and drawings a point on the plane you can get the corresponding z quota.

so create many 3d points how many are the tops of the polylines, for safety connects with a line the point with the nearest top of the model, at this point autosez will create the section including also the "created by hand" vertices

I hope I've been clear

Bye-bye

Good morning.

for gp.

I have loaded autosez_2 as well as by instructions,

then launch the as command and appears this error writing:

; error: an error occurred within the function
* error* setting of the autocad variable rejected: "Osmode" nil

What can be the problem?

Thank you.
