you did not specify the cities!! personally it is not only investing in the application and in the course, but going to another city, then hotel travel expenses etc etc. and sincerely for a couple of km of white roads one tantum is worth sweating a little to the pc, if the roads were a semper I would have already made the investment.

I put myself in this discussion to ask you for a "strange" behavior of this lsp.
Does anyone of you know why sometimes, completely unpredictable and arbitrary, the section is interrupted before, at a distance below the length of the selected section segment?
I have to make a landslide and to estimate so as precisely as possible the volume to be cleared drawing multiple parallel sections before and after the works. this lsp is great only that creates me this difficulty. if I track the same section two or more times one after the other gives me different results.
How can I answer the problem? ?

It's hard to improvise, to replicate the problem you have to attach a portion of dwg with the sections to calculate and the autosez_2.dat file that you find in the folder you read in the localrootprefix variable.
the latter must be taken only after the unexpected use of the program.

I tried the lsp again and unfortunately continues to give me the same problems reported in the previous post.
As required, I'll attach the dwg file I'm working on. in it you find traces of the sections to draw from 1 to 13. I tried to track section 1 for 3 times below and every time it gives me different results.
attached I also put the .dat files, renamed in temporal progression, produced every time. all zipped.
Can you help me solve the problem?? What am I wrong? ?
the lsp is exceptional and if it worked me it would be amazing

In some cases, for the purposes of selecting entities, the procedure carries out a "zoom object" on the section line, is a fraction of a second, on some pcs you do not even notice.
the calculation of the section on level curves is a procedure inserted in version 2 of autosez, I escaped to insert it between the cases in which it needs this zoom.
Solve the problem by selecting the section line at the time when this results "entirely" displayed at video.

I take advantage to insert a utility for drawing a board profile on a plot consisting of 3dface. the axis is represented by a lwpolyline at altitude 0 and the profile obtained is the development of the same in 2d. 3dfaces concerned are automatically selected with a fence obtained from the lwpolyline itself. using the 3dorbita command you can verify the performance of the various heights obtained from quota 0 to the edges of the 3dface.
the profile thus obtained can be managed with the appropriate option of the excellent autosez_2 of gp.

try resetting the program by deleting the autosez.dat file (for the route see the localrootprefix variable).
if you do not solve a "portion" of dwg with dtm and polylinea on the floor.

Now I have a request, for an improvement of the lisp (always if the thing cannot already be done and I am not able to do it... ).
would it be possible to insert an option that allows (in progressive distances when you want to fake a 2d polylinea on the plane) to choose a polylinea point that becomes the center of the same (zero) and therefore progressive distances are written to the right and to the left from this point?
Currently you select polylinea and progressives are written from the first point on the right.
My problem arises from the fact that to pretend a road section, I need progressives to the right and left of the axis.
to do this with autosez2 I had to break in two the polylinea, to pretend the right part, to mirror the left part and to pretend it, to reflect the latter and to join the right side... I mean, a process a little long and slender.
I know I ask too much... but in a possible phase of improvement of the lisp, this, in my opinion, could be an interesting option.

hi lee max :biggrin:, for now I am limited to a small modification and to correct a bug, for the rest I think I will attach only programs "external" like your great that you posted in the thread.
for lack of time (since they don't give me a badger) I'm not able to develop a new release, I can only devote myself to short touches and escapes... :tongue:

the lisp allows the repositioning of the progressive 0.00 in a cartiglio designed with autosez.
