Yes, yes, beautiful... in theory.

I really care about the bim speech....... and I hope that everything is going well in the right time.
However, I fear that gil is so right, if technicians (incapacity) put wrong data and then if other technicians (always incapable) pass those data :

I do my personal example for the last job I followed..........
then had previously talked about pdm + bim, well had access to the pdm of the mega company (with yards of tens and/or centi of millions) we downloaded the drawings that we needed in part following the list that had been supplied to us and partly looking for them on the pdm (via connection vpn).

However the list was partly wrong, the archived drawings were mostly stored not in the last version and I could continue.
basically we had to reorder their pdm (which did not compete with us) and only after we could do the job, which had gone (obviously) late.

We'll see...

I hope that the project system will be improved. I think the bim is an interesting solution.
I hope to see a system that can well connect project and construction site.

However when I look around I have to admit that in the building sector the ideas of many entrepreneurs are: "so the project doesn't serve," "just pile up some cards for the bureaucracy," "the important thing is to throw up, then you will see," "chemmifrega to me of how I work so much I am friend of the caio and sempronio guy and so who throws me out!"

thanks to this mentality our construction works are of mediocre quality and of the cost elatively high. reason why Italian companies in the sector are not uncompetitive abroad. We're not in the '80s anymore, and we stayed behind.

The expo is another yard, where for my little experience, it is full of amateurs to the landing.
