Good evening!
who writes to you is a young computer technician, hired for a few days in a company, to deal with "small daily problems" in the use of corporate assets. I am not an expert neither of design, nor of catia.
I write here after looking in your pages solutions to the problem that I am about to expose. I've made some attempts on the basis of how much I read, but I couldn't come to the end and solve the problem that is presenting me.
hoping to find someone who can help me.. I'm going to expose the situation.
a position between those that "curo" is used to draw on catia v5, but the person who works there complains a rather annoying problem:
when trying to move an object in the 2d with the classic drag&drop, the pc will think about it for about 2 seconds (with a lot of wheel) when selecting an object within the drawing. In practice, when you click on the object to move (text or drawing), you must wait for a small amount of time in which the program goes into a sort of freeze before the object begins to follow the pointer and move. Afterwards, continuing to work on the same object this moves correctly without thinking about it, but by going to select another object again the two annoying seconds of freeze (with a lot of wheel).
this happens both with more complex files of large size and with very simple and light designs. Therefore I assume that it is not a problem dependent on the hardware that is not very recent but I think cmq enough to turn caia (workstation with cpu xeone5-2620v3 2.40ghz, 64gb ram, nvidia picture p4200).
This happens with different versions of catia, so I assume it is not a problem related to the version of the program.
I tried to install several times the drivers of the video card, from the latest version available and going back to some update, as well as cuffing in the tab settings. So I assume it's not a problem related to graphic drivers.
We canceled the catsettings, but the speech doesn't change.
Does anyone have any useful suggestions? definitely yes, so I start thanking you already from now on......
Bye to all,
Mauritius
