You upload the data to a ftp, or you send the dvd, I don't see big problems and I don't see many alternatives unless you buy a license, as my colleague says:

Hi.
If you can't install personal 4d design on another working pc, the only way to try to review old designs is to go through a viewer, edrawing type, on the net there are many that in theory promise miracles and in practice results are very disappointing.
However if you are lucky and find the right one, once you open the drawings, you can create pdf, jpg, bmp or, in the best case, the dwg that could allow you even when little change ...otherwise remodel with the new sofware.

I also had the same problem. I found two paid viewers:
http://www.rasterex.com/buy/us.aspxhttp://www.draftware.com/html/dvpd.htmthere is also the possibility of converting them as well as viewing them (with more expensive versions), the problem is that in the first site I have difficulty in making the purchase (the ecommerce site works badly and do not convince me much with the payments) and in the second the program costs more and it is always from a foreign supplier who hardly convinces me with the invoice/iva speech.
I'm looking for other software that can replace them, but I understand they don't exist. (fileviewpro says it can open them but only with the paid version)
pro/engineer say that you can open personal designer drw files?
