create displayable and editable share directly from model tree

I hope I have entered a title and I can explain well:
from my studies, I remember, with catia there was the possibility (I don't remember how but) to be able to view a certain share of a feature directly on the model tree, so that you can act quickly on that dimension and constantly have it under your eye.
I try to explain myself: let's say that I have a representative model of a spring. as normal display, I have a spring height equal to rest spring. now, I must be able to pass from the height of the rest spring to the height of the compressed spring, and vice versa, quickly and easily consultable.. Is there a possibility to make the height of the spring appear directly on the tree so as to change it with a click and control it every time I open the design?

If you want to rename the column, you need to rename the size parameter. .
if you want to see this quota only on this model,
make a note with this quote:
#annotation

explained better because quota and parameter, are distinct elements in pro-e / creo and have different possibilities in fact of name.

for the "negative" reasons that you described above, I would personally use a parameter in part to associate the quota (at that point you do not need to rename it), the parameter then has the advantage of being recalled in the tree, for all parts/axis that need this change "fast" from the tree.
of course the saving of the tree is obligatory, unless you save the tree.cfg at boot directory level and points the config.pro them.

the column you have to recall it in the assemblies where you are interested, the tree.cfg is a setting that if you change the one that loads the config.pro, you will have on all the assemblies, that column, if you want it on certain assemblies, you have to call it back at a time, or play it with the config.pro in the folder where you are working and create the program start icon starting from them.
